Bushco International was the Joshi family company established in 1972, focused on trade and finance. In the 1990’s, the focus centred around the Oil & Gas sector in Eastern Europe. Shravan Joshi headed the company from 2004 onwards and developed the business in Central Asia and the Middle East. With physical offices in the UK, continental Europe, Middle East and Asia, there was truly global coverage for project execution, before moving on to establish SM Ventures in 2011.

Examples of projects included offshore platform installation, pipelaying, process control, supply of valves, pumps, testing & measurement equipment and field maintenance services. With a home team of over 25 people and business in several international territories, Bushco brought together key suppliers and purchasers in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry, negotiating and facilitating mutually beneficial contracts and trade finance solutions.
